About the Workshop

This workshop will focus on the movement of thought and the movement of emotion. You will improvise, learn techniques on how to keep a first impulse (thought) alive and how to externalize inner experience and inner movement. This will not only make you move but will indulge you in a physical-theatre performance. It will also help you as an actor to connect with yourself and also to share this with the audience. This is not only achieved through text (as only 6% of the information you give are with the words you use) but mostly through body language and tone of voice. To be true, you have to be in motion. So join this workshop and learn to free the body through language, externalizing thoughts and emotions through movement.

F.A.D Opening Day with Timmy & The Catdawgs

Forming in the fall of 2017, Timmy & The Catdawgs was initially the brainchild of Taymour ‘Timmy’ Khajah, an operatic singer by training and guitarist by nature. His theater background has helped, of course, and it’s obvious when he’s up on that stage. Mixing up rocker growls with tenor lines isn’t Timmy’s only forte, however. Better described in his own words, “my guitar has transcended itself to become an extension of my limbs”. As one of Kuwait’s best and most well-known songwriters, it’s no wonder his swag is so impeccably sharp.
