Media-based storytelling is one of the most powerful forces in our society and culture. This workshop is designed to allow students creativity to flourish in the field of production, television, behind-the-scenes tropes around plot devices. The workshop includes many activities such as, the impact of media studies on television and a better understanding of this field to help students enable themselves to become ethical, creative and innovative leaders around the world of television. Students will generate unique ideas for multiple prompts given, table reads of scripts, starting and designing a new show, and learning more about television formats and production formats.
