About Our Instructors
Staneslas Kumar:
Known as “Stan,” is a multidisciplinary artist/performer certified under the International Council of Dance. He has performed and trained under some of the top choreographers and directors from Europe, USA and the Arab world. Stan has also published and exhibited his work with the British Council and Arab British Centre, in Kuwait and the UK in 2019-20. In season 6 of Arabs Got Talent, he and a team of LAPA dancers were one of the semi finalists. With 7 years of experience, his journey of exploring and learning still continues.
Ana Maria Mosquera:
Ana Maria is a Colombian artist with a degree in Performing Arts. She was part of “Paso Latino.” A very well known Latin Dance company in Colombia. Ana Maria has participated in international dance competitions in countries like Colombia and Mexico. As an actress she participated in a Colombian TV series called “Nadie me quita lo bailao.” In her short time in Kuwait, she choreographed and performed at the Zain Eid Ad 2021 and she is leading programs of artistic education with kids at LAPA.
Ahmed El Sayed
Ahmed AKA Slum, a dancer/bboy representing “Legalizeit Crew,” who has been active in the hip hop scene since 2010. He participated and won in many solo and crew competitions like; Boty in Malasya, B.O.E (battle of the elements) obtaining the first place in Egypt, as well as, in Royal Battle (Egypt). Slum leads the breaking scene in Kuwait. He says that "Hip Hop taught me how to live and to express myself. Breaking is the way I speak.
Ahmed Ibrahim
Known as "Kicks," his dance journey began in 2002, when he was introduced to the world of street dance. He choreographed a theatrical show called Circle in 2019, Game Store advertisement in 2021, Music video for Bader Al Sheibi and some others. As a performer in Kuwait, he participated in different Music Videos with popular artists like Daffy. Abroad, he was part of Arabs Got Talent season 6 being a semifinalist. In 2021, Kicks formed a new dance group known as CRYPTEX alongside some of Kuwait’s elite dancers. He believes that “Dance is a form of expression that we all can relate to. Dancers know how it feels, yet the public should take time to experience and gain more knowledge about it, in order to understand the beauty.
