About the award:

LOYAC Academy of Performing Arts "LAPA" launched this award to commemorate Gisele Khoury who dedicated her life to the credibility of media. She was the first Arab media figure who delivered the first media training workshop in Al-Jawhar Program. She presented 6 training workshops that benefited 40 Arab youth.

Content:

Creating digital content by filming a video of a live scene photographed by the participant, which represents a violation of human rights, in addition to conducting a dialogue with an eyewitness to prove the authenticity of the scene. Content should be about palestine.

Duration:

• 1. The Main Video, Duration: 4 minutes, suitable for publishing on YouTube

• 2. A short video of the main video, 60-90 seconds long suitable for posting as an Instagram Reel

Conditions:

• 1. The participant films a live video with their camera that constitutes a violation of human rights, in addition to conducting an interview with an eyewitness to prove the authenticity of the scene.

• 2. The video must be of high technical quality.

• 3. The content should not include photographic material that was previously published, as it must be captured with their own camera lens.

• 4. Photography must take place at the event site itself, and not in a studio prepared for photography.

• 5. The participant must be of Arab nationality.

• 6. The participant must be in the age group of 15-40 years.

• 7. The participant must be independent and not working for any media channel or platform.

Awards:

• 1. First Place: 2000$

• 2. Second Place: 1000$

• 3. Third Place: 500$

• 4. Along with many empowerment opportunities in media field.
